A learners licence is an examination written at a registered test center and is valid for 24 months. You must be at least 17 years old and be in possession of a valid I.D. document to be allowed to write the learners licence examination. Only when you are in possession of a learners licence, you can legally drive the type of vehicle code your learners licence has been issued in, providing you are accompanied by a licensed passenger.
You will need the following when making your learners licence appointment:
DM will assist with securing the booking of the test date for your learners licence test. Please see price list for fees.
- Your original Identity document
- A copy of your Identity document ( NOT certified)
- 2 x ID photo’s
- R108 payable to the test station on making the appointment
- R60 payable in cash to the test station when issuing the learner’s licence
- A black pen
